Education & Workforce Development
Hands-on skilled-trades education, safety, mentoring, apprenticeship pathways, digital and AI skills, and career preparation through qualified training partners.
Our mission spans housing rehabilitation for households unable to afford essential repairs, skilled-trades education, employment pathways, healthcare access, entrepreneurship, veterans, families, and other community needs. We connect people with existing resources, coordinate organizations around shared solutions, and develop new programs when important gaps remain.
Find Community SupportJoin the Network →W&B Community Builders & Veterans Foundation was established in New Jersey to bring people, organizations, and community resources together. We retain a direct commitment to helping eligible households with critical home repairs and accessibility needs, teaching skilled trades, and connecting qualified participants with employment opportunities. Our broader mission also encompasses education, economic mobility, veteran opportunity, entrepreneurship, stronger families, and healthier communities.
We begin by using and strengthening the services, expertise, and resources already available through qualified partners. Where the community still lacks access, we work toward building the missing capacity ourselves or with others. We will distinguish available referrals, developing partnerships, and directly operated programs.

Will R. Arias-Cruz Founder & President
As a U.S. Army veteran, construction professional, and 2025 Turner Construction Management program graduate, I believe that the skills used to build homes, schools, and facilities can also help build opportunity for our neighbors.
I founded W&B Community Builders & Veterans Foundation with a practical goal: connect people who want to learn and work with the organizations, employers, and communities that need their skills. We are developing pathways for veterans, young people, and aspiring entrepreneurs while exploring ways to improve housing and accessibility.
Our vision is bigger than any single project. We want a lasting network of educators, trade unions, businesses, chambers of commerce, and public institutions working together—one responsible partnership and one documented result at a time.

These are development priorities—not guarantees of services, training seats, or jobs. These are development priorities—not programs we claim are already fully operating.

Develop relationships with W&B General Contracting, W&B Global, prime contractors, subcontractors, union employers, corporations, and public agencies to identify real openings, training placements, and supplier opportunities. Hiring remains each employer’s independent decision.
The Foundation is a separately governed nonprofit. W&B General Contracting LLC may provide construction expertise, training exposure, and possible employment opportunities; W&B Global LLC may provide business, technology, and possible employment pathways. Independent prime contractors, subcontractors, and union employers may also participate. Any affiliated contracts, funding, or referrals require appropriate oversight, conflict-of-interest safeguards, and fair selection. No employer is obligated to hire, and no affiliated company is automatically entitled to Foundation funds or work.
The Foundation seeks to connect residents, skilled workers, educators, veterans, and responsible institutional partners. Strong programs are built through relationships—not promises or technology alone.
Listen to residents, veterans, and community partners; evaluate the request and the resources required.
Identify appropriate funding, approved trades, educators, volunteers, and organizational roles.
Carry out approved work safely and track participation, costs, results, and lessons learned.
Our Community Partnership Network is being developed as a shared table—not a merger or political organization. Every participant keeps its independence while working toward common goals and measurable community outcomes.
